How do I use R+F Active Hydration Serum with my Regimen?
R+F Active Hydration Serum works best when layered under a moisturiser or other skincare product. Apply it after cleansing and toning. Immediately follow with the next step in your skincare routine (Step 2 for SOOTHE, SPOTLESS and RECHARGE, Step 3 for REDEFINE, REVERSE and UNBLEMISH); do not wait for product to dry.

Is R+F Active Hydration Serum only for people with dry skin?
No. All skin types need hydration to perform optimally, regardless of age or skin condition. There is a misconception that only dry or older skin needs hydration, when in fact all skin types can benefit from the right type of hydration, even acne-prone or oily skin.

Will using too much R+F Active Hydration Serum make my skin oily?
R+F Active Hydration Serum is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and non-acnegenic (won't cause breakouts). It self-adjusts to what skin needs to help it reach its optimal moisture equilibrium. If you have oily skin, use once per day in the evening as directed for the best results.

Do I need R+F Active Hydration Serum if I am using another R+F moisturiser (e.g., REDEFINE Triple Defense Treatment, REDEFINE Overnight Restorative Cream or SOOTHE Sensitive Skin Treatment)?
Hydration and moisturisation address dryness in different ways. Hydration adds water to the skin, while moisturisation does not actually add water to the skin, but rather forms an occlusive barrier on top of the skin to seal in the moisture that is already there. R+F Active Hydration Serum and its 3D3P Molecular Matrix add continuous hydration to the skin. It has been clinically tested to work synergistically with all R+F Regimens to boost results.

What should I do if my face feels sticky after applying R+F Active Hydration Serum?
R+F Active Hydration Serum is not meant to be the last step in your routine and works best when a moisturiser or other skincare product is immediately layered over it. Any initial stickiness should disappear once the product dries.

Can I use R+F Active Hydration Serum on my neck, chest or hands?
Yes. R+F Active Hydration Serum is safe for use on neck, chest and hands.

How much R+F Active Hydration Serum should I apply?
Once you twist open the cap, the dropper will automatically fill with the correct dose of product, which is approximately 1/3 of the length of the dropper. However, feel free to adjust dosage based on what your skin needs.

Do I apply R+F Active Hydration Serum in the morning or evening?
Begin with nightly use and adjust to twice daily if it's what your skin needs. We recommend starting with nightly use if you have oily or combination skin, and twice daily use (morning and evening) if you have dry skin. Once applied, immediately follow with the next step in your Regimen.
