Step 1: Prepare Skin
Pore Prep Solution
1. Saturate a gauze pad with Pore Prep Solution. Apply to your T-zone area (forehead, nose and chin).

Step 2: Pore Cleanse

4. Glide tip downward from inner eyebrow area to the tip of the nose, using vertical strokes
5. To break suction, gently roll tip off at an angle — do not pull straight off of skin

Step 3: Remove Blackheads
Pore Cleansing MD Tool + Blackhead Removal Tip
1. Re-saturate the gauze pad with Pore Prep Solution. Apply to blackhead removal area.
2. Click the targeted Blackhead Removal Tip into the Pore Cleansing MD Tool
3. Begin at the lowest suction level by pressing the power button at the bottom of the Pore Cleansing MD Tool (press button again to increase power as needed)
4. Place tip directly over remaining blackheads and firmly press down for 1–3 seconds
5. To break suction, gently roll tip off at an angle — do not pull straight off of skin

For best results, remove makeup prior to using the Pore Cleansing MD Tool. Follow the extraction process with your evening Regimen.

How do I choose between REDEFINE Daily Clay Cleanser + REDEFINE Daily Foaming Cleanser?
Both the cleansers gently exfoliate and remove daily impurities and makeup from the skin. The REDEFINE Daily Foaming Cleanser chemically exfoliates with Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) that gently exfoliate the skin surface for a more even appearance in skin tone + texture, while the REDEFINE Daily Clay Cleanser has physical exfoliators + Kaolin (a type of clay that gently exfoliates + purifies for a softer more even-looking skin texture). REDEFINE Daily Clay Cleanser can be used as a mask by leaving it on for 2 minutes before removing. How do I use the REDEFINE AMP MD System with the REDEFINE Regimen?
For best results, follow these steps at least three nights per week, ramping up to every night:
1. Cleanse with the REDEFINE Daily Clay Cleanser or Foaming Cleanser + follow with the REDEFINE Pore Refining Toner. Always follow directions + read warnings before use.
2. Use the AMP MD Derma-Roller, divide face into sections (forehead, right side, left side, chin, nose, neck) + with moderate, comfortable pressure, roll the AMP MD Derma-Roller over each section 4-10 times, changing directions with each pass: vertically, horizontally, in a diagonal from upper left to lower right + in a diagonal from upper right to lower left.
3. After rolling, apply the contents of one REDEFINE Intensive Renewing Serum capsule to your entire face + neck
4. Follow with the REDEFINE Overnight Restorative Cream or REDEFINE Overnight Reparative Lotion.

I'm using the REDEFINE Regimen and my skin is breaking out. What should I do?
If you were not previously on an acne-targeting Regimen, this may be due to your skin acclimating to a new skincare Regimen. During the first six weeks of usage, you may experience temporary dryness or a few breakouts.  Both REDEFINE Triple Defense Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 or REDEFINE Defense Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15 are non-comedogenic + will not clog pores. However, if you have oily skin, the lighter Lotion might be a better option for you.

If you are still experiencing breakouts after six weeks, use the UNBLEMISH Refining Acne Wash in place of the REDEFINE Cleanser every morning, then follow with the REDEFINE Pore Refining Toner + REDEFINE Triple Defense Cream or Lotion with Broad Spectrum SPF 15. For added benefits, three mornings a week use the ENHANCEMENTS Micro-Dermabrasion Paste as directed.

If you were using products to manage your acne before you started REDEFINE Regimen, you might find that the UNBLEMISH Regimen is a better choice for you.

I'm using the REDEFINE Regimen and my skin is dry. What should I do?
Skin + skincare needs change over time. Dryness could be the result of a few things such as changes in diet, poor hydration, extreme weather, your activity level or changes in your skincare routine.  If you experience dryness with REDEFINE Triple Defense Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15 you might try medium-weight REDEFINE Triple Defense Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 instead.

To address topical dryness and flaking we recommend exfoliation: Substitute the ENHANCEMENTS Micro-Dermabrasion Paste for the REDEFINE Cleanser two to three times a week in the morning to promote maximum gentle exfoliation. So, on those mornings your routine will be: ENHANCEMENTS Micro-Dermabrasion Paste, REDEFINE Pore Refining Toner + REDEFINE Triple Defense Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 or REDEFINE Triple Defense Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15.

If your skin continues to appear dry, you may need extra moisture as your skin acclimates. Here are a few suggestions for you: Consider adding the R+F Active Hydration Serum. Apply Active Hydration after you cleanse and tone your skin and before you apply the AM or PM moisturiser. Hydrated skin not only looks healthier but is also primed to more readily accept ingredients from products that are layered on top.

I'm using the REDEFINE Regimen and my skin is oily. What should I do?
The REDEFINE Regimen is formulated for all skin types. If your skin feels too oily while using the REDEFINE products, be sure to allow the REDEFINE Triple Defense Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 15 or REDEFINE Triple Defense Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15 to dry prior to applying any makeup. The REDEFINE Triple Defense Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 15 may be the best choice for oily skin types.

In addition, we recommend Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid Broad Spectrum SPF 30 in the morning as the last step of your skin care routine to leave your skin with a dewy finish. How long should I use the REDEFINE Regimen?

Where can I use the Pore Cleansing MD System?
You can use the Pore Cleansing Tip in the T-zone ONLY (forehead, nose and chin), always starting with the lowest suction level. This area is often oilier than the rest of the face and prone to clogged pores, blackheads and breakouts. You can use the blackhead removal tip wherever a blackhead pops up. The chest, shoulders and back are also prone to clogged pores and blackheads so you can use both tips in these areas as well.

Can I use the Pore Cleansing MD Tool on acne pimples?
No, you should use the Pore Cleansing MD Tool on clogged pores and blackheads only. We do not recommend using over acne pimples or cystic acne to avoid increased inflammation and potential for scarring. You should use over-the-counter products such as Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic and Sulfur to address mild-to-moderate acne. We recommend the UNBLEMISH Regimen for adult acne and visible signs of ageing or SPOTLESS Regimen for teen and young adult acne.

My skin is sensitive, but I am concerned with clogged pores and blackheads. Can I use the Pore Cleansing MD System?
The Pore Cleansing MD Tool is not recommended for use on sensitive skin. Sensitive skin, by definition, has a compromised barrier; therefore, we do not advise that you apply suction or pressure to areas of sensitivity to avoid skin damage.

Pore Cleansing MD System is also NOT for skin that is thin, fragile, or prone to redness, excess dryness or bruising. And do not use on cystic acne or dilated capillaries. As always, if you have ANY reservations or medical questions about using this product, be sure to ask your doctor first.

How often should I use the Pore Cleansing MD System?
We recommend using the Pore Cleansing MD System once weekly at night using the Pore Cleansing Tip as directed. You can use the Blackhead Removal Tip as needed, whenever a stubborn blackhead pops up.

Can I use the Pore Cleansing MD System in the morning?
We recommend you use the Pore Cleansing MD System in the evening to allow any residual redness or minor bruising to dissipate by the morning. In the morning, always use sunscreen because removing excess dead skin cells may increase photo-sensitivity. Also, sun exposure can worsen the appearance of pores.

Can I use the Pore Cleansing MD System with other products?
We always recommend following the Pore Cleansing MD System with your nighttime Regimen routine beginning with Step 1. You can also use the Pore Cleansing MD Tool with the AMP MD Derma-Roller and our Face Masks, but don’t use them on the same night.

Can you share the Pore Cleansing MD Tool with someone else? The Pore Cleansing MD Tool is designed to be shared with friends and family because of its hygienic, single-use disposable tips. Always make sure to use a new, clean tip for each person. This helps prevent bacteria from spreading.
