I am using UNBLEMISH and my breakouts are getting worse. What should I do?
The acne cycle is also influenced by hormones, stress and other physiological and environmental factors, all of which may contribute to flare-ups. If you are new to UNBLEMISH, make sure you follow the ramp up schedule in your Regimen brochure. Having a few more acne breakouts when you begin using UNBLEMISH may be normal. However, if you have been using the products for over a month and you are still experiencing increased breakouts, please contact the RF Connection at rfconnectionau@rodanandfields.com for assistance.

What products can I use during the off times while I ramp up the UNBLEMISH Regimen?
When you first start using the UNBLEMISH Regimen be sure to follow the ramp up schedule included in your Regimen brochure. We recommend that you use mild cleansers, moisturisers and SPF as you ramp up to using the UNBLEMISH Regimen twice a day. Avoid other products containing acne ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid, Retinoids, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, such as Glycolic Acid, or any scrubs and mechanical brushes, as they can result in irritation. The SOOTHE Regimen is a good option for your skincare routine.

I'm using UNBLEMISH Regimen and my skin is dry. What should I do?
Slight tightness or mild redness may indicate that your skin is adjusting to the ingredients in the skincare Regimen. This is a common occurrence and may last up to two weeks. If you experience dryness while using the UNBLEMISH Regimen, layer a moisturiser over UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment, such as Active Hydration Serum or SOOTHE Moisturizing Rescue Cream.

How long should I use UNBLEMISH Regimen?
You can use this skincare Regimen for as long as needed, but just because your skin is clear doesn't mean it's time to stop. Continuous use of the Regimen will help keep your skin clear. Once your skin has been acne-free for an extended period of time, you may consider shifting to once-a-day use of the UNBLEMISH Regimen and start introducing our REDEFINE Regimen or REVERSE Regimen into your daily routine.

Can UNBLEMISH Regimen be used on my body?
You may use the UNBLEMISH Regimen to address body acne as well. Ramp up as directed to twice a day as needed to control acne breakouts on the body. When using the UNBLEMISH Regimen on the body, apply a lightweight moisturiser if skin feels dry. Be aware that Benzoyl Peroxide can bleach fabrics, so wear white clothing and use white linens and towels.

How do I use REDEFINE Intensive Renewing Serum with UNBLEMISH Regimen?
After using UNBLEMISH Regimen for four weeks, you can patch test REDEFINE Intensive Renewing Serum in the evening after UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Treatment (Step 3). Begin using Intensive Renewing Serum three nights a week and increase to every night as tolerated. And, of course, a broad spectrum sunscreen is the most important weapon in your anti-ageing arsenal. UNBLEMISH Invisible Matte Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is formulated to protect adult acne-prone skin from UV rays that can intensify the appearance of acne marks.

I am allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide. Can I use UNBLEMISH Regimen?
You can still benefit from the UNBLEMISH Regimen by replacing UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment (Step 3) with SOOTHE Sensitive Skin Treatment. This product features RFp3 Peptide Technology that works at the skin's surface to neutralise triggers and pacify skin. It's clinically tested to help reduce the visible signs of redness common in acne-prone skin.
